DAYTONA BEACH -- Donald U. Ramsing, 88, of Westwood Drive, a retired yacht captain for Daytona
Marina & Boat Works, died Tuesday at home.Mr. Ramsing was born in Indianapolis and moved to this
area in 1952 from Greenwich, Conn. He was a member of the New Smyrna Beach Shrine Club, the F&AM
Lodge 270, the Bahia Temple in Orlando, where he served in the Provost Guard, and past p
resident of the Daytona Shrine Club.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Laura; a son, Richard, Melbourne; a daughter, Linda Ramsing
Uzzle, Daytona Beach; a brother, Thor; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Daytona
Funeral Home is in charge.
